 The
goals are simple:
- To
promote Alberta's interests
- To
give Albertans a strong voice in Ottawa
- To
protect Albertans' prosperity, and
- to
ensure Alberta's opportunities for future generations
In
other words, a better deal for
Alberta.
The
Party of Alberta is a new
Federal
political party that strives
to
get that better deal for our Province. We will be a strong and
independent voice in Parliament representing Albertans - working
hard to promote their interests and making every effort to protect
their prosperity.
 We
will work to
promote the ideals which
Albertans hold dear, pushing
forward the desire of Albertans for a greater say in their own
affairs, free of outside influences and with less interference from
Ottawa. We will work for
greater democracy and citizen participation in government, and for
Albertans'
fair and equal representation in Parliament.
We will
push for tax
relief for Albertans, and
for a smaller Federal government with less bureaucracy and waste.
We believe that a balanced budget and a plan for paying down of the
Federal debt will benefit Alberta, and will hold
the Federal government to account on matters of money. We will
work hard to keep more of Albertans' money in their own pockets, not
those of the Federal government.
 We
believe that a
Party should be operated
transparently, from the
ground up, and be responsive to its members. As such, we will
commit to be a member-driven, grass-roots Party.
This is the
task we
have laid out for ourselves. If you agree
